SUMMARY

The Membership Coordinator plays a vital role in building and sustaining strong relationships with kidSTREAM members. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the museum’s membership program, including member acquisition, renewals, engagement, and data tracking. The Membership Coordinator ensures an exceptional member experience that supports the museum’s mission to inspire children through STREAM (Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning and play.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in nonprofit, museum, customer service, or membership-based organizations.
• 1-2 years of experience in membership, guest services, sales, or development support. ? Familiarity with CRM/database systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, professional, and visitor-centered. ? Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. ? Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings for events.
• High level integrity, and discretion with confidential information
• Passion for kidSTREAM’s mission and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working in a museum, or education-based organization
• Proficiency with donor management, CRM Platforms Experience with Blackbaud/Altru a plus ? Prior involvement in startup or early-stage organizational operations
