This sales position is more than selling memberships - it’s selling the Hampshire Hills experience and building relationships for a lifetime. The job includes working with our current membership base, providing outstanding service and working with all departments to ensure member retention. It also includes creating new relationships, generating new leads, asking members for referrals and selling new memberships. An ideal membership representative should project a professional appearance, possess an assertive and energetic personality, and demonstrate outstanding communication skills. Our sales team needs a self-motivated, capable team player with a serious desire to sell while having fun! Responsibilities: * Generate leads, new membership sales and promotions. * Provide attentive and engaging site tours for potential members. * Track leads for prospecting potential new members and follow up with former tours and members. * Ensure exceptional integration experience for new members. * Grow profit centers and promote club services. * Improve customer service experience for club members. * Sustain and support membership retention. Requirements * Minimum of one year of a sales or customer service experience including relationship building, customer retention & cold calling. * Health/Fitness industry experience & related health club familiarity preferred, but not required for success. * Ability to move about freely, including climbing stairs and walking for long distances. * Strong computer skills and ability to learn new programs with ease. * High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree preferred). * Friendly and welcoming personality. * Great phone and interpersonal skills. * Strong attention to detail. * Available shifts: Sundays from 9 am - 4 pm; Mondays from 2 pm - 7 pm.
