About the Job The Membership Operations Manager is a full-time, exempt role, responsible for supporting operational goals of the Membership Team and maintaining the efficacy of the Daxko database. You will assist members and guests with account management, including but not limited to, membership changes, past due balances, refunds, services and programming charges, and account statement inquiries. You will be the hub in the wheel of the member journey, supporting the Member Experience Team in understanding membership and providing data assistance to help other Shalom Austin Teams with their programs and initiatives. The successful candidate for this position will be comfortable (and excited!) about database work, excel in both behind the scenes operations and customer service, love being a key team member assisting multiple people, and will be happy to support several program areas run well. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities: Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Works with the Member Experience Director to ensure all policies and procedures are clear, reasonable, and communicated across the organization. Ensures the Daxko database is up to date and correct, including account management, demographics, and contact data. Conducts regular audits of membership units to correct any inaccuracies and ensure account types reflect the active members appropriately. Creates Membership types, discount groups, financial program registration, and manages all back-end needs in Daxko (i.e. ensuring waivers and membership documents are current and being signed, seasonal specials and price changes are set up, etc.). Oversees end of month operations regarding all membership changes, freezes, and terminations in Daxko. Manages collections, refunds, and returns for the Membership Department. Contacts members via phone, email, and has in-person interactions, logging conversations within the CRM platform. Provides needed support for Member Services, including working shifts at the Welcome Desk as needed; supports programming and special event needs. Develop Power Automate flows for membership team. Maintain shared email templates and Microsoft Forms. Maintain updated information in both Member Services and Membership SharePoint sites. Manage expenses and purchases for the Membership Department. Assist other departments with data projects with data needs from Daxko. Serves as direct supervisor to Welcome Desk Manager providing guidance and support where needed. Serves as direct supervisor to Membership Services Coordinator providing guidance and support where needed. Serves as worksite liaison for Shalom Austin RAISE employees as needed. Other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum of 1-year experience in a professional office setting. High school graduate. Experience with data entry and SAAS (Software as a Service) platforms. Demonstrated ability to maintain high attention to detail. Ability to thrive working independently and on a team. Ability to attend evening or weekend events as needed. Ability to provide donors, constituents, and colleagues a consistently excellent customer service experience. Demonstrated advanced skills using Microsoft Office suite. Excellent project management skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks. CPR/AED training within first 30 days of hire. Emergency management training within first 90 days of hire. Pass all required criminal history background checks (which may, depending on the position you are hired for, include an FBI fingerprint check). Responsibilities
