Job Title: Membership Services Director

Reports To: Director of Chapter Development
POSITION SUMMARY:
The position exists to provide quality service to SCWA members SCWA’s foundation and strength comes from developing and maintaining a strong membership base. The position provides accurate and timely membership information and services to members, volunteers and staff.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· Ability to work well with diversified staff and volunteers at various levels
· Detail sensitive
· Some bookkeeping knowledge preferred but not essential
· Typing ability
· Good verbal and writing communication skills
· Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
· Ability to lift 30 lbs. at a time
· Ability to drive company vehicle while towing trailers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Two Year technical schooling in Information Technology or related subjects preferred
· Two to three years related work experience preferred

· Develop and execute annual membership business plan
· The functions listed are the most time consuming but not all inclusive:
· Maintains and ensures membership database integrity
· Develop and implement policies and procedures of how membership data is stored and managed
· Develop and execute aggressive membership renewal program
· Ensures membership correspondence, membership renewals, and materials are sent in a timely manner
· Provides statistical and other pertinent information to leadership
· Works with chapter volunteers and fundraising staff to ensure timely and accurate interchange of information
· Contact and organize vendors for Duckfest event
· Maintaining a positive work environment /attitude
· Order Membership Materials at best price and terms
· Send out postcards for banquet reminders
· Send out letters to donors
· Resolve membership problems or forward unsolvable situations
· Answering phones
· Assisting Fundraising Coordinator as needed
· Other administrative tasks as needed
