POSITION SUMMARY:

Form relationships with potential travel agents and help them make a positive decision about becoming an independent travel agent with KHM Travel Group. This includes correspondence through phone calls, emails, and live chats while answering questions, asking qualifying questions, providing information and support, and assisting them in getting started with their new travel business.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 1+ year of sales experience
  • 3+ years of customer service experience
  • High school diploma/ some college preferred
  • Willingness to learn, grow, adapt continuously
  • Microsoft Excel and Word Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Extensive Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel experience a must)
  • Ability to manage stress and deal with challenges in a positive way, customer service-focused for internal customers.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work without close supervision, respond to management direction, takes responsibility for projects.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to work with and accept feedback from team members, managers, directors, and executives on a regular basis.
  • Must possess excellent time-management skills, the ability to pay close attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven creative environment.
  • Must possess ability to handle, organize, and communicate status of multiple projects at different stages of completion.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • May be exposed to short, intermittent, and/or prolonged periods of sitting in performance of job duties
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to work cooperatively with team members and supervisory staff at all levels
  • Will be required to accomplish job duties using various types of equipment/supplies, to include but not limited to computer keyboards, copier and label printers.
  • Ability to safely, occasionally and independently move and handle 50lbs

Responsibilities
  • Set phone sales appointments for qualified leads
  • Respond to chats, emails, and text messages- qualify leads
  • Qualify “hot leads”, continue potential clients through the sales process
  • Send out new agent packets
  • Meet daily call goals
  • Collaborate as a team to achieve monthly sales goals with a “One Team” mindset

  • Review new lead applications and approve/deny enrollment
  • Familiarity with Active Campaign is a plus
