Description Memory Care Aide We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Memory Care Aides to join our team and provide exceptional support to residents with memory impairments. Schedule is 7a-7p working 2 days a week and every other weekend. Excellent benefit package after 60 days including 2 weeks vacation, sick time, 403b company match up to 6% and other perks. Key Responsibilities: - Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility - Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a safe and comforting environment - Monitor and document residents' conditions, behaviors, and needs to ensure personalized care - Support residents in engaging in therapeutic activities and social interactions - Follow care plans and safety protocols to promote residents' well-being - Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to deliver comprehensive care - Must pass criminal background check and abuse and neglect checks - Must be punctual and dependable Join our team and contribute to creating a warm, respectful, and supportive environment for our residents. Requirements Skills and Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent form the United States - Direct Care Worker Certificate or active CNA certification in the state of PA - Prior experience in a memory care or senior care setting preferred - Compassionate, patient, and attentive to residents' needs - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as part of a team - Basic knowledge of dementia and other cognitive impairments is a plus - Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and maintain a calm demeanor
