We are currently seeking a passionate and creative Memory Care Life Enrichment Coordinator to join our team and enhance the quality of life for our residents in the Memory Care Unit. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, plan, and implement engaging, therapeutic activities tailored to the needs and interests of residents with memory impairments - Foster a supportive and stimulating environment that promotes socialization, cognitive function, and emotional well-being - Collaborate with staff, families, and healthcare professionals to create individualized activity plans - Monitor and document residents’ participation and progress in activities - Maintain a safe, clean, and organized activity space - Stay informed about best practices and innovative approaches in memory care enrichment Skills and Qualifications: - Prior experience in activity planning, preferably in a memory care or senior living setting - Strong understanding of dementia and other memory-related conditions - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Creativity, patience, and a compassionate approach to resident engagement - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in activity coordination or dementia care are a plus At Grand Villa of Deland, we value our team members and are committed to fostering a positive, growth-oriented environment.
