JOB SUMMARY

We (Cambridge Cobras FC) are looking for a Manager to lead our young and talented team in the Cambridge County League (Saturdays). The manager will be supported by a player coach and will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the football programme, including coaching and player development. This role requires a strong understanding of the game, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive team environment. The appointed manager will work closely with players, coaching staff, stakeholders and administrative personnel to ensure the success of the team both on and off the pitch.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Level 1 football coaching or (ideally) higher
  • Proven experience in coaching, ideally with adults.
  • Strong knowledge of football tactics, rules, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire players.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey strategies and feedback to players.
  • Ability to analyse performance data and make informed decisions based on findings.
  • A passion for developing young talent and fostering a love for the game.
    Job Types: Part-time, Volunteer
    Pay: £15.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 2 – 3 per week
