Our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where gymnasts of all ages and abilities can grow in confidence and reach their full potential. we’re now looking for an enthusiastic and motivated MAG Coach to join our dedicated coaching team. Role Summary We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach to deliver engaging, safe, and progressive gymnastics sessions. You’ll work within our structured MAG programme, supporting gymnasts across a range of ages and abilities — from foundation to competitive levels. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves coaching, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to make a positive impact on young athletes’ development. Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality MAG training sessions. Support gymnasts’ technical, physical, and mental development. Ensure a safe and positive training environment at all times. Work collaboratively with the coaching team to develop and implement training plans. Prepare gymnasts for competitions, including choreography, routines, and judging criteria. Communicate effectively with parents, athletes, and colleagues. Uphold and promote the values and welfare policies of Oadby and Leicester Gymnastics Club. Qualifications & Requirements Level 2 (or higher) British Gymnastics-recognised qualification in MAG or General Gymnastics. British Gymnastics Membership Enhanced DBS check through British Gymnastics. Safeguarding certification - We will fund training. First Aid certification (desirable but not essential). Enthusiasm for working with children and young people. Strong communication and teamwork skills A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to personal and club development. Desirable Skills Experience coaching MAG gymnasts to competition level. Additional qualifications in other gymnastics disciplines. Experience in strength and conditioning or physical preparation.
