Abilities Community Services is looking for skilled Residential Support Workers supporting one individual with mental health and addictions in their home.

Responsibility of the position includes, but is not limited to:

• Supporting adults with mental health and addictions
• Assist with Crisis Intervention
• Work on goals contained in Person Centred Plans
• Take part in planning options for participants
• Food and meal preparation
• Household chores
• Medication administration
• Personal care
• Any other tasks as may be necessary
• Must work well in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with Mental Health and Addictions
• Current First Aid/CPR Level C
• Class 5 drivers license
• Naloxone Training
• Medical clearance including a recent negative TB test
• Non Violent Intervention Training
• A clean criminal reference check
• CSW diploma or relevant work experience
• Food Safe
