Eligible providers may apply for loan repayment programs through the National Health Service Corps | NHSC Loan Repayment Program (hrsa.gov) for up to $100,000 or have your student loan balance forgiven through the Public Service Loan Forgiveness PSLF (studentaid.gov/pslf/) Position Summary The Mental Health Supervisor is responsible for clinically supervising a multi-disciplinary treatment team and provides clinically appropriate services. Ensures site is in compliance with all regulatory agency requirements as well as Stillaguamish Tribe’s Policies and Procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Conduct case conferences with Mental Health Professionals and other clinical staff · Review and sign off on all case records required and in compliance with all Federal, State, County and Tribal. · Maintain records sufficient to meet County, State, and Federal clinical documentation requirements. · Complete various chart audits for documentation compliance providing guidance to Mental Health staff based on results, recommend trainings, provide in – service trainings. · Counsel clients in individual or group sessions, managing caseload of 15-25 clients. Monitors, evaluates and records client progress with respect to treatment goals · Maintains client progress, and provides outreach and advocacy to help people attain their highest degree of health and independence · Adheres to universal precautions and other appropriate infection control practices. · Adheres to safety and security policies, and participates in disaster drills. · Follows security regulations and policies, with consideration of clinical factors. · Provides documentation in accordance with unit policies and procedures. · Engages in internal audit preparation and review process as directed. · Maintains case records in an accurate and timely manner; develops and maintains current crisis plan. · Meets with supervisor on a regular basis and attends required meetings, consultations and trainings. · Develops and implements promising/best practices programming based on identified needs of patients • Duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities · Providing clinical supervision and case consultation on a regular basis. · Maintaining WAC compliance of all files through review and feedback with other clinical staff. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Knowledge of treatment approaches for individual and family counseling, crisis intervention and brief therapy. · Two years’ prior supervisory experience preferred · Knowledge of group process. · Ability to use Windows, Excel, Work and other relevant computer software. · Ability to develop and monitor goal-directed treatment relationships. · Knowledge of treatment approaches for drug dependent clients, and ability to work with clients experiencing drug dependency issues. · Ability to develop community resources and market services. · Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing. · Ability to read, write and speak in English. · Must demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences. Position Qualifications · Master’s Degree in Social Services field or related field (Psychology, Mental Health Counseling). · Washington State Counselor’s license. · Experience in counseling adults, youth and families. · Experience in leading groups, trainings and workshops. · Experience working with diversified, ethnic/cultural populations in social services. · Ability to pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen. · WA state Driver’s license and ability to be approved by Tribal insurance to drive Tribal vehicles. · Must keep up to date certification CEU’s to provide services to clients. $2,500 Hiring-on Bonus! Bonus is distributed in equal installments for new positions.
