Job Description Part-time (0.6) contract until June 30, 2027 Based in Narre Warren on the lands of the Bunurong People, with scope for outreach work within the community Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience + 12% Super + Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550 About the program BounceBack Casey/Cardinia is a community-focused program supporting young people experiencing complex and chronic mental health challenges. The team works collaboratively to provide evidence-based interventions, outreach, and holistic support for young people and their families. Your role, your impact As a Mental Health Clinician, you will play a key role in supporting young people to improve their mental health, wellbeing, and engagement with life. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing assessment, case coordination, and therapeutic support to young people with complex mental health needs Delivering evidence‑based interventions onsite, via telehealth, and through community outreach Building strong, supportive relationships with young people, families, and community partners Developing care plans and completing referrals to ensure coordinated, holistic care Managing an active caseload and following up to support young people to achieve their goals Developing and facilitating group programs as required Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contributing to meetings, clinical discussions, and program planning Your work will have a meaningful impact—supporting young people to build hope, resilience, and pathways toward recovery. About you To thrive in this role, you’ll have: Undergraduate qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Nursing, Social Work, or related discipline with eligibility for membership in the relevant field Experience providing assessment, case management, and psychological interventions for young people with severe mental health issues Skills in engaging clients and stakeholders, problem-solving, and promoting hope and compassion Experience working with young people who are disengaged from social activities, education, or employment Experience in outreach or community-based mental health programs Victorian driver’s license Additional Information To view the full Position Description, click here.
