Responsibilities

We are looking for psychologists, social workers, and registered mental health nurses, responsibilities include

  • Conducting comprehensive intake assessments utilising the Initial Assessment and Response (IAR-DST) tool, determining appropriate service allocations, and managing escalations for high-risk or complex cases
  • Conducting intake and risk assessments and developing tailored counselling plans in collaboration with participants and their families.
  • Assessment and triage of individuals seeking mental health services
  • Engaging with participants providing personalised counselling, therapy and brief therapeutic interventions
  • Advocating for participants and coordinating with other clinicians, peer lived experience workers and stakeholders to enhance interventions and well-being.
  • Monitoring and managing participants’ mental health and well-being, collaborating with health professionals as needed.
  • Match participants with appropriate internal or external mental health services based on clinical assessment and organisational capacity
  • Participating in clinical meetings, case meetings with peer lived experience workers, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance your expertise.
  • Working in a multi-disciplinary team with peer lived experience workers and other mental health clinicians.
