Employing a multidisciplinary staff, KC-ATC is a resource for Law Enforcement, Hospital Emergency Departments and Community Mental Health programs in the greater Kansas City area. What You'll Do Evaluate client’s mental health condition based on the review of client information, including bio-psycho-social assessments, psychological evaluation, and diagnostics. Collect information about the client through interviews, observations, and tests. Prepares and maintains treatment records and reports. Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans for the client(s) being served. Requirements of the Position Availability to work Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am (40 hours). Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a social science field (as defined by the Department of Mental Health). Candidates with advanced Missouri licensure such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is preferred. The ability to work with all persons with multiple challenges (mental illness, substance abuse, physical challenges, developmental disabilities, etc.). Knowledge of the community resources as well as health and social service systems in the Kansas City metro area and skill in establishing working relationships with community partners preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus. Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
