Job Description FTE: Multiple roles available (0.8–1.0 FTE, ongoing) Location: Based at the eastern shores of nipaluna/Hobart in lutruwita/Tasmania – On-site role with outreach across Southern Tasmania Salary: Dependant on qualifications + 12% Super + Generous Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550 About the program Each is the lead agency for headspace. headspace Early Psychosis is a youth and family-friendly mental health service supporting young individuals (aged 15–25) who are experiencing or at risk of psychosis. Our multidisciplinary team delivers evidence-based, recovery-focused care, supporting young people and their families through assessment, intervention, and ongoing support. The Mobile Assessment and Treatment Team (MATT) and Continuing Care Team (CCT) provide assertive outreach, crisis management, and intensive engagement. Together, they play a vital role in helping young people navigate complex challenges and create pathways to recovery. Your role, your impact As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll play a vital role in early intervention. You’ll provide clinical assessment, intervention, and case management, while working collaboratively with families, carers, and service partners. Your work will directly support young people to recover, reconnect, and thrive. Key responsibilities: Provide clinical assessment, intervention, crisis management, and therapy to young people Promote family involvement in care and treatment planning Engage clients, carers, and families in collaborative treatment and review Strengthen shared care models and partnerships with other service providers Deliver interventions aligned with the EPPIC model Support professional development and contribute to research and evaluation Foster a supportive, inclusive team culture Who we’re looking for Approved tertiary qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, or Social Work (mandatory) Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for AASW membership (mandatory) Experience in clinical assessment, intervention, and case management with young people Strong engagement skills for working with young people and families Ability to provide flexible outreach services Understanding of relevant legislation and recovery-oriented care Commitment to inclusive, culturally safe practice Valid driver’s licence (mandatory) What will make you stand out Experience in early psychosis or youth mental health Experience in service planning, development, or evaluation Skills in research, quality improvement, or supervision Additional Information What’s in it for you At Each you’ll be supported to be your best.
