About the role The Intensive Mobile Treatment Team is a specialist team within ICYMHS which provides specialist mental health assessment and intervention to the most vulnerable and at-risk young people in our community, their families and support systems. The team has a flexible approach, providing care via both outreach and clinic-based appointments, and works systemically to ensure consistency of care for young people engaged with multiple service systems due to their complexity. The team has a strong culture of reflective practice, supervision, ongoing professional development and robust structures that support this. The successful candidate will hold a designated case load whilst being supported by senior clinical staff, team leader and consultant psychiatrist. About you To be successful in this role you will possess: To be successful in this role you will possess: Qualified OT, social worker or clinical psychologist with 1 year of experience and registration with AHPRA Qualified Social Worker with one year experience and eligible for AASW registration Post Graduate qualifications in developmental psychiatry course, family therapy or child psychotherapy are desirable but not essential Highly developed interpersonal skills A strong commitment to high quality care The ability to work as part of a diverse team Excellent communication and organisational skills Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
