Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role sits with a community mental health team who provide recovery focused, person centred care to rural/remote children and youth who are experiencing mental health issues. The role encompasses acute/crisis intervention, case management and carer/family support.
A typical workday involves clinical care planning, and multi-disciplinary service co-ordination in the form of case management for consumers requiring acute and complex mental health intervention in the community.
The successful applicant will work with a multidisciplinary team integrating a range of mental health, drug and alcohol services based at both Forbes and Parkes health facilities. We also provide outreach services to Condobolin and surrounding smaller communities.
Work hours are Monday to Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm. You will not be required to work on Public Holidays or weekends.
