Description Mustang Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is actively recruiting for a licensed Mental Health Clinician (LCSW or LPC) to join a respected, nonprofit healthcare organization in Leakesville, Mississippi. This is a mission-driven opportunity with a stable schedule, strong clinical support, and excellent benefits. Location: Leakesville, MS Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Setting: Outpatient only — no weekends, no on-call Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $65,000 – $75,000 per year Production bonus potential Health insurance (95% employer-paid; approx. $25/pay period) Dental and vision insurance 401(k) with 5% match — fully vested from day one 11 paid holidays + 3 weeks of paid time off (PTO) Malpractice, life, and long-term disability insurance included Up to $100,000 in student loan repayment assistance CME: 3 days and $1,000 per year Reimbursement for licensing or certification fees Position Overview Outpatient only; no weekends or on-call required See approximately 8 to 12 patients per day Conduct 1-hour intake evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups Provide autonomous care within a team-oriented, community-based system Work closely with underserved populations in a rural setting Requirements Active and unrestricted LCSW or LPC license in Mississippi LCSWs must have completed supervision and passed the ASWB Clinical Exam, or be licensed prior to July 1, 2020 Strong communication, documentation, and decision-making skills Passion for serving underserved communities About the Employer This role is with a nonprofit health system that includes: 12 community health center clinics 19 school-based health clinics A mobile medical unit Four pharmacies and two administrative sites
Responsibilities
The clinician will see approximately 8 to 12 patients daily, conducting 1-hour intake evaluations and 30-minute follow-up sessions. This role involves providing autonomous care within a team-oriented, community-based system, focusing on underserved populations in a rural setting.
