ROYAL MELBOURNE HOSPITAL – MENTAL HEATH SERVICE

• Part time 0.8 EFT Permanent Position.
• Seeking a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, Psychologist, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist for a community based role in the specialised field of Older Adult Mental Health.
• Classification Range: Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 3 (NP81-NP74)/Occupational Therapist Grade 2 (YB20-YB23)/Psychologist Grade 2(PK1–PK4)/Social Worker Grade 2 (YC42 - YC45).

• Provide psychiatric assessment and treatment formulation within the Older Adult Mental Health Program, in consultation with the Consultant Psychiatrist, clinical and medical team.
• Develop and implement comprehensive recovery and treatment plans in collaboration with consumers and their family and carers.
• Deliver evidence based treatment and interventions that support older adults with complex mental health and ageing related needs, and their families and carers.
• Coordinate and deliver intensive clinical intervention and treatment to consumers in the community i.e. mental status examination, risk and safety management, medication observation and support, crisis support and management of acute deterioration.
