Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Mental Health Clinician is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for coordinating the recovery of people with a mental illness or disorder, providing expert clinical services in collaboration with consumers, carers and other care providers, using an integrated and person centred approach. The key skills are to have an interest in providing mental health care in the community.
This position is based in Coonabarabran and providing outreach to Coonamble. They are also supported by the larger Mental Health team in Dubbo.
The most rewarding aspects of this role is being able to work within the community, meeting new patients and seeing positive outcomes for them from interventions that are put in place. The successful applicant would need to have good communication skills to be able to network with other services within the community.
This position is Monday to Friday with hours of 8:30am to 5:00pm.
