As the Mental Health Counselor/Social Worker you will be responsible for providing direct services to clients of the agency including assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination under the direct supervision of a clinical supervisor.

In addition, you will:

• Provide direct clinical care.
• Exhibits ability to engage clients and help them meet their therapeutic goals.
• Conducts a thorough diagnostic assessment through the use of interviews, observations of clients, the gathering of information from collateral sources, and performing testing.
• Develops and implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of an appropriately credentialed Clinical Supervisor/Clinical Manager.
• Provides intervention/treatment; conduct individual, family, and group therapeutic services within the scope of practice; provide competent services in accordance with the agency’s established standards of care.
• Communicates with families, probation officers, caseworkers, schools, and other interested parties in order to exchange necessary information during the treatment process and document all client-related contact in compliance with agency standards.
• Maintains a complete and updated clinical record for each assigned client; utilize the agency’s established standard operating procedure to comply with documentation requirements.
• Engages in supervision, consultation, and applicable educational opportunities to develop expertise in field of service

Minimum qualifications/requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s Degree preferred
• LPC/LSW/Psychology Assistant/LPCC/LISW/Psychologist/Post-Doc Fellow
• Valid Driver’s License and Car Insurance
