Job Details Job Location: FLA-Ft Myers State Non Secure Drug - Ft Myers, FL Position Type: Full Time Regular Education Level: Graduate Degree Salary Range: $45983.31 - $61308.96 Salary/year Job Category: Social Services ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY Schedule/Hours: 40 Hrs. This position is responsible for: Provides Mental Health assessment and counseling services to Triage Corrections clients who are identified with mental health and/or co-occurring mental health issues; coordinates and ensures access to necessary mental health and psychiatric services. Key Responsibilities: Provides a mental health assessment on program participants who are identified with mental health needs. Provides crisis intervention services for program participants who are identified with immediate mental health situations which may require emergency services. Provides weekly on-going individual therapy to program participants. The sessions must be 1.5 hrs. long and be documented in the electronic records system. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work setting is in a social services environment where exposure to communicable diseases is possible. Ability to work a varied work schedule, includes evenings and weekend responsibilities.
