About the opportunity Part time, fixed term (0.8 EFT - 64 hours per fortnight) commencing 9 Feb 2026 - 6 Feb 2028 Rotational program across Wyndham and Hobson's Bay areas with opportunities to enhance skills in bed-based, residential / rehabilitation and community settings (potential for shift work in the second year) Incorporates a thorough orientation, paid study days, structured training both internal and external, and discipline specific clinical supervision and reflective practice sessions Supported to develop skills in providing high quality client-focused Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions to clients, their family and carers. This will be incorporated in a holistic, recovery oriented, strengths based and culturally sensitive approach in line with the organisational values Be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team, and provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers in a high-growth metropolitan mental health program Reduced case load What you’ll bring You’re resilient, compassionate and have a whole lot of heart. To thrive in this role, you will have: Passionate about mental health, advocacy and recovery Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve. A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management. The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment. You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining: A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check. Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders. Have full Australian working rights (must be able to work a minimum of 64 hours per fortnight) Full driver’s license (particularly for second year community rotation) Approved degree in Occupational Therapy and current/pending registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Current Victorian Driver’s License Ready to help us shape the future of healthcare?
