A Class Care is an award winning Live in Care provider that provides Block care/support, Live in and Night Care services enabling our clients to remain in their homes for longer. We offer an individually tailored, high-quality home care across Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire.
We are looking for a team of dedicated and compassionate live-in carers to join our team, working closely with one of our clients to provide the care and assistance they need to thrive.

As a live-in care worker with A Class Care, you can benefit from:

Your day-to-day duties would include:

  • Support the mental health and emotional well-being of our client with a history of challenging behaviour.
  • Create a safe, calm, and nurturing environment to help manage triggers and support positive outcomes.
  • Assist with day-to-day tasks, personal care, and promoting independence.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, family members, and team members to ensure consistent care.
  • Monitor and document progress, identifying and responding to any changes in behaviour or needs

  • Calm, patient, and empathetic nature with the ability to de-escalate stressful situations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the needs of the client and team.
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A minimum of 1 year’s experience providing support to clients with mental health challenges and learning disabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on update service is desirable
  • Must be able to pass enhanced DBS
