EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated expertise in program development and implementation, including measuring outcomes and continuous quality improvement.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of clinical care standards in the treatment of adults, children and families facing multiple barriers (abuse, neglect, domestic violence, chemical dependency, poverty, etc.)
  • Knowledge of DSM V.
  • Experience working directly with clients in mental/behavioral health, social work, or medical settings including utilization of evidence-based practices with high fidelity.
  • Expertise in supervising and providing consultation to clinical staff.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

Drives the work of clinical supervision and care pathways involving EBP therapy within clinical care teams. Clinical Supervision and Consultation Specialist’s responsibilities consist of creating training, standards, workflows, and other continuous improvement tools related to best practices in clinical supervision and EBP therapy in collaboration with other members of the clinical excellence team. This includes monitoring utilization of care pathways; consultation with EBP Leads and programs; ensuring adequate assessment and treatment planning using best practice modalities; utilizing outcome measures to track progress and training clinic leadership and agency staff in areas of expertise including clinical supervision. This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, thorough knowledge of therapy delivery theories and standards as well as best practices in clinical supervision. responsible for coordinating staff and service delivery across all Valley Cities sites. This person will provide back-up staffing for groups and assessments. The position requires excellent communication and organization skills, excellent knowledge of clinical practices for chemical dependency, mental health and co-occurring disorder services, and sound understanding of staff development and adult learning styles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide leadership in supporting the mission and goals of Valley Cities, including ensuring and expanding quality service provision.
  • Promotes an organizational vision and environment that emphasizes teamwork, trust, professionalism, efficiency, and customer service.
  • Prioritizes recovery, wellness, and a culture of Trauma-Informed Care in working with staff and clients.
  • Achieve 60% productivity (24 hours) billable services per full FTE.
  • Model principles and standards for clinical excellence.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with evidence-based practices and best practices relevant to target adult populations, including CBT, DBT, EMDR and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Assists the Clinical Excellence team in developing and executing new projects.
  • Ensures compliance with relevant laws, administrative codes, and contract requirements that pertain to the provision of mental health services.
  • Maintains current knowledge of laws, regulations, funding sources, WAC requirements, and management practices that impact areas of oversight.
