• 
  Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency
• 
  Demonstrated relevant experience working in the field of Mental Health.
• 
  Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse
• 
  Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment
• 
  Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills working within a multidisciplinary team.

ROLE TITLE: MENTAL HEALTH REGISTERED NURSE (YEAR 1 - 8)

Department and location: Caritas Inpatient Ward, St Vincent’s Hospital, Darlinghurst
Salary: $72,153.53 - $101,299.48 + super.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• 
  27 bed inpatient unit consisting of 6 high dependency beds and 21 acute patient beds.
• 
  Conduct mental health assessments and observation of patients’ mental health.
• 
  Develop, implement and evaluate care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• 
  Provide holistic patient care to some of our most vulnerable people within our society in a trauma informed and least restrictive manner.
• 
  7 day a week, rotating roster with one additional day off per month.
