Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Residential Rehabilitation Treatment Program (Mental Health & Rehab) Registered Nurses to support the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Hospital located at 2094 Albany Post Road, Montrose, NY 10548. Multiple shift schedules are available. Responsibilities Assessment of mental health behaviors with appropriate interventions as ordered by providers. Obtain baseline vital signs, weight, height, and complete documentation in computerized patient record system (CPRS). Complete the admissions and discharge process along side with the admissions team. Successfully utilizes the breathalyzer, knowledge of cleaning the device, and appropriately document findings in patient medical record per policy. Completes mandatory and annual competencies for equipment and procedures, adhere to unit-based protocols, maintain a current BLS certification, and work collaboratively with other disciplines in the Medical Center. Participates in in-services and performance improvement activities and customer services programs at unit and service line levels. Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care based on age-specific components. Considers all characteristics of the individual, including age and life stages, state of health, race and culture, values, and previous experiences Administers medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines. Influences care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team. Exhibits core elements of performance to include knowledge of unit/program level quality improvement processes and initiatives as well as customer service programs. Qualifications Holds a diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program, college, or university and hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any State; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred At least one year of recent experience in a mental health, behavioral health, or rehabilitation setting preferred Has and maintains current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Has no health or physical disability restrictions that interfere with performance of assigned duties No Sponsorship available Position Pays: $55 - $60.09/hr All candidates must be able to: Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist Lift up to 20 lbs Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
