Milestone House is seeking a Social Worker/MHRS for our short term residential therapeutic program for teen females. Candidates must possess one of the following combinations of education and experience: bachelor’s degree and 2 years experience working with children and families and minority populations, a master’s degree and 2 years experience in behavioral health; or a registered intern with some experience in behavioral health.
The MHRS/SW is responsible for case management services for a maximum of six teens, including coordinating the child’s education, communicating with the child’s county worker, family, and CASA, and writing monthly Needs and Services Plans. In addition, the MHRS/SW provides the following billable services: two weekly rehab groups and one weekly rehab meeting with each child. The MHRS/SW is responsible for documenting billable services in Smart Care to bill medi-cal. Experience with Smart Care billing is preferred.
Supervised hours are available by licensed clinician at no charge.
As a precondition of employment candidates must pass a criminal background check and drug screening. Must possess a valid driver’s license.
