Description Mental Health Specialist – Cultural Faith-Based Empowerment Program Envision Unlimited | Chicagoland & Central IL Envision Unlimited is seeking a Mental Health Specialist to deliver mental health education and support to faith-based and community populations. This role focuses on outreach, training, and connecting individuals to behavioral health and community resources. Key Responsibilities Conduct mental health screenings and needs assessments Connect individuals to services (housing, treatment, benefits, etc.) Provide education to faith-based organizations and community groups Support outreach events (some evenings/weekends required) Track program data and complete documentation Partner with providers to ensure continuity of care Envision Unlimited is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field 3+ years of social service experience Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with public speaking/group facilitation preferred Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required Compensation & Benefits Salary: $60,000–$70,000 (based on experience) Medical, dental, vision, and 403(b) Generous PTO + paid holidays Tuition assistance & licensure support Mileage and cell phone reimbursement
