About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Support Worker to join our team in Bideford, Torrington. In this rewarding role, you will provide emotional and practical support to individuals with mental health needs, helping them lead fulfilling and independent lives. Location: Cardiff Contract Type: Full-Time (35 Hours per Week) Salary: Negotiable Tasks Provide direct care and emotional support to individuals with mental health needs Lead, support, and mentor a team of support workers during shifts Develop and regularly review care plans and risk assessments tailored to individual needs Administer and monitor medication in line with company policies and procedures Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all aspects of care Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience supporting individuals with mental health needs NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it) Strong understanding of safeguarding, mental health conditions, and recovery models Flexibility to work varied shifts, including sleep-ins and on-call duties Must have the right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) DBS check required please provide a passport copy share code if you are not a British passport holder Benefits Company pension scheme On-site parking Referral programme Supportive and inclusive team environment How to Apply If you are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of others and meet the above criteria, we’d love to hear from you!
