Summary: The Crisis Lead Mental Health Technician has the responsibility to ensure CAC is running smoothly, and to provide support to Shift and Clinical Leads.  Education Requirement: High School diploma or equivalent Completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred Experience Requirement: * EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MENTAL HEALTH OR CRISIS SETTING. * MENTAL HEALTH OR CRISIS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.  Licensure/Certification Requirement: None  Key Job Responsibilities: 1. Complete all duties as a Mental Health Tech. This position will be one of the Mental Health Techs on the floor.  2. Coordinate with Shift Lead, Nurse Lead, and Clinical Lead as needed for any issues noted on shift. 3. Complete dietary meal census every day in absence of Unit Coordinator (varies per shift).  4. Audit and upload CAC property sheets and 15-minute check sheets daily. Ensure property processes are followed and coordinate with the Crisis Administrative Manager if any client property is missing or misplaced. Report insufficient documentation on sheets to Shift Lead. 5. Coordinate with the CSU Unit Coordinator to ensure upkeep and organization of property room.  6. Ensure snacks are stocked and available for CAC. Coordinate with the Crisis Medical Records Clerk for ordering of snacks as needed.  7. Coordinate with the Crisis Medical Records Clerk to ensure supplies are ordered for CAC as needed.  8. Ensure observation room, triage area, and hallways are clean and well maintained.  9. Update the Shift Lead on work orders needed for building.  10. Ensure CAC has adequate laundry for shift. Coordinate with the Crisis Medical Records Clerk for ordering of gowns and/or sheets if needed.  11. Abide by the policies and procedures as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: * This person must be able to work effectively in a crisis service delivery setting, exemplify problem solving skills, formulate appropriate crisis intervention response, demonstrate self-motivation, and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.  * This person must contribute to a professional, healing, and restorative environment.   PERSONAL RELATIONSHIPS  In order to appropriately accomplish his/her duties, the person occupying this position will be required to maintain effective relationships with local hospitals and other referring partners, Crisis frontline staff, Crisis Managers, Alliance Directors, and the clients of Alliance Healthcare Services. Supervision Provided by this Job: * None Physical Demands/Conditions: Prolonged standing and walking; lifting, turning patients and equipment. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
