Mental Health Technician II - Cottonwood Care Home This position will be located at our Cottonwood Care Home in Ashford, Alabama 12 HOUR PITMAN SCHEDULE 7AM-7PM WEEK I - TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY WEEK II - MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY Alabama State Retirement Option Available Responsibilities: * Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.  * Teaching group and individual basic living skills * Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program * Ensure efficient operation of the facility * Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision * Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system Requirements: * HS Diploma/GED * Good MVR, willing to submit to motor vehicle report check * Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age). * Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen * Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire * Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment Benefits: $14 Base Pay Rate Holiday Premiums Available  Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama Health and Dental Insurance Paid Holidays Paid Time Off- Sick time and annual leave Company paid life insurance AD&D and dependent life insurance
