Mental Health Technician II - Cottonwood Care Home This position will be located at our Cottonwood Care Home in Ashford, Alabama Pitman Schedule: Week 1:  Mon, Thursday, Friday 7am - 7pm Week 2:  Tues, Wed, Sat, Sun 7am - 7pm  Base Pay: $14.00/hr      Responsibilities: * Various activities to meet consumer needs including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning of the facility, assisting with daily tasks, etc.  * Teaching group and individual basic living skills * Providing transportation using system vehicle when required by the program * Ensure efficient operation of the facility * Assisting with medication using the MAC certification under nurse supervision * Completing required documentation using an electronic health record system Requirements: * HS Diploma/GED * Must be 21 years or older, Good MVR, and willing to submit to motor vehicle report check * Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen * Must obtain CPR and MAC certification upon hire * Prefer previous experience providing patient care in a mental health or substance abuse treatment environment Benefits: * Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama Health and Dental Insurance * Alabama State Retirement * Paid Time Off - Annual, Sick, Personal  * OnShift Wallet through Payactiv * PTO Buyback Program * Company paid life insurance * AD&D and dependent life insurance * 10 Paid Holidays * Public Service Loan Forgiveness  * Troy University Student Discount (Dothan Campus) * Continuing Education Provider Approved by NBCC - ACEP #6611
