We are currently hiring a Mental Health Therapist for our 6-bed residential treatment center in Tarzana, CA, working with teens ages 12–17 struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Evolve provides cutting-edge residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment programs for teens. Our clinical approach is rooted in evidence-based practices such as: Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Motivational Interviewing (MI) Key Responsibilities: Act as primary therapist for assigned clients and families throughout treatment. Provide individual and family therapy sessions on a weekly basis. Facilitate 1–2 therapy groups per week and document clinical notes accordingly. Complete Biopsychosocial Assessments, Risk Assessments, and develop comprehensive Treatment Plans. Participate in the on-call rotation, offering phone support and managing after-hours clinical needs. Collaborate with the Utilization Review team to secure ongoing insurance authorization. Support clients through discharge planning, including home contracts and after-care referrals. Attend weekly Treatment Team and Psychiatry meetings, contributing clinical updates and insight. Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required documentation in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards. Integrate Outcomes Program data into diagnosis and treatment planning. What You’ll Need: Active California registration as AMFT, ACSW, or APCC (Licensed applicants LMFT/LCSW/LPCC also welcome) Ability to pass LiveScan, federal/state background checks, and child abuse index clearances Strong clinical judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment Valid Ca driver's license as you may be asked to assist at our other locations.
