Description Mental Health Therapist Location: McKinney, TX Compensation: $40–$45/hour | 28–30 client encounters per week Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Exult Healthcare is growing! We're looking for a fully licensed or associate mental health therapist to join our team! At Exult Healthcare, we’re redefining what it means to provide holistic mental health care. As our practice continues to grow, we’re seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our collaborative team and make a meaningful impact in our community. A Mental Health Therapist at Exult will be responsible for providing the following services: Assessment of bio-psycho-social needs and development of individualized treatment plans Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group counseling Ensuring proper and timely documentation of services provided Other administrative duties as needed in-line with the provider’s knowledge, skillset, and comfort zone Responsible for maintaining communication regarding treatment progress to referral sources and providing aftercare plans and follow-up care Ensuring the proper care of clients as mandated by the provider’s ethical guidelines and in coordination with other treating professionals Exult provides the opportunity for a Mental Health Therapist to provide 28-32 hours of direct services to clients. This includes individual therapy sessions, intake assessments, and crisis services Requirements Active licensure in the state of TX (Licensure types include: Licensed Psychologist, LPC, LCSW, LMFT or related licensure) Master's or Doctoral Degree in Addiction Counseling, Social Work, Psychology or related field. Minimum of 3 years of therapy experience An honest and sincere respect for clients and relationships of all kinds, and a commitment to providing the best care possible Cultural responsiveness: awareness of your own cultural identity and the ability to learn from and respectfully relate to other cultural backgrounds and heritages, including a willingness to engage in anti-racism work Ethical, reliable, and collaborative, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Comfortable leveraging technology for clinical documentation Skilled completing clinical documentation (e.g. case notes) in a correct and timely manner Passionate about client progress, continuous learning, and contributing to a growing, mission-driven practice.
Responsibilities
The Mental Health Therapist will assess clients' bio-psycho-social needs and develop individualized treatment plans while providing evidence-based counseling. They will also ensure proper documentation and maintain communication regarding treatment progress.
