Job Description Accountabilities: Psychosocial intake assessments for individuals referred to the intensive outpatient program from within the hospital as well as from the community Individual psychotherapy Plan and conduct psycho educational and process groups Facilitate an evening family group Consult and coordinate patient care within the hospital as well as collaborate with community resources and plan for transition to community programs Follow the documentation guidelines as defined by their respective college (i.e. social work college, occupational therapy college, registered psychotherapist) as well as the mental health department Participate in ongoing professional development Qualifications Masters Degree in a related health field required (social work, occupational therapist, registered psychotherapist, counselling/psychology) with a combination of relevant experience in mental health and addictions Member of a regulatory college in good standing Minimum three to five years recent working in mental health and addictions is essential, preferably in an acute or community setting Certification in concurrent disorders is an asset Experience in developing and conducting evidence based psychosocial and process groups Demonstrated experience in providing psychotherapy including family therapy Excellent psychosocial assessment and intervention skills including crisis intervention Demonstrated understanding of serious and persistent mental illness and concurrent disorders Familiarity with community resources and demonstrated ability to work well with community partners Experience in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders, psychosis/schizophrenia and other complex mental health issues Demonstrated excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills Must be able to work independently and interdependently within an interdisciplinary treatment team Must demonstrate Osler's Values of Respect, Excellence, Service, Compassion, Innovation and Collaboration Computer proficiency with Zoom; Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; and Meditech Excellent attendance, punctuality and work record Required to travel between Osler sites as needed Additional Information Hours: Currently Days/Evenings, 8 hour shifts including weekends and statutory holidays (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements) Internal application deadline: October 29, 2025 #PT #LI-WD1 Osler values inclusivity and diversity in the workplace.
