The Licensed Mariage and Family Therapist will function as a core member of the multidisciplinary team and communicate patient's health care needs with primary care, behavioral health and chemical dependency services, health care facilities and/or payers. They act as an advocate and help patients gain access to resources while confronting their personal issues, such as mental illness, addiction, and abuse. The position takes responsibility for management of a therapeutic caseload (individual and family), providing timely charting and record keeping. The Licensed Mariage and Family Therapist provides evidence-based treatments, helps with discharge planning, and provides direct care to patients who are admitted as inpatients and/or outpatients.  Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable.
