Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our outpatient team. In this role, you will provide individualized, culturally sensitive therapy services that support clients’ mental health, resilience, and overall well-being. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to create treatment and crisis plans, ensuring clients receive holistic and client-centered care. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct strength-based assessments for individuals and families, creating a welcoming environment for clients of diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide individualized outpatient therapy, including individual and family sessions, tailored to client needs.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support long-term stability and recovery.
  • Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and discharge planning.
  • Complete documentation, billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorizations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, therapists, and administrative staff to deliver integrated care.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Provisional or full clinical license (as required by state regulations) or on track toward licensure.
  • Strong passion for mental health care and commitment to ethical, client-centered practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete administrative tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience providing outpatient mental health services.
  • Interest in professional development, continuing education, and clinical supervision opportunities.
  • Desire to collaborate within a multidisciplinary care model.
