About the role

Reporting to the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert in health and wellbeing, injury management and recovery at work. You’ll:

  • Lead wellbeing and mental health initiatives that strengthen resilience and psychological safety.
  • Partner with leaders to build capability in supporting employee wellbeing
  • Manage our Employee Assistance Program and BodyCare initiatives
  • Drive continuous improvement in Return to Work, Recovery and Fitness for Work programs
  • Oversee workers’ compensation activities, ensuring compliance and quality outcomes
  • Monitor trends, analyse data and provide insights to inform strategy and decision-making
  • Lead a team of 2 direct reports

This role requires a balance of day-to-day operational support with delivery of long-term strategic projects to build a healthier, safer workplace.

What You’ll Bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in health.
  • State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) Return to Work coordinator training.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in injury management, recovery at work or wellbeing roles.
  • Experience implementing strategic recovery and return to work programs.
  • Strong compliance focus with the ability to manage confidential matters.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
