TEAP is a supportive work environment with a close-knit team. Lots of training and supervision are provided to all staff. Team building activities occur regularly. Daily activities with the kids are fun and engaging. Creativity is encouraged. TEAP provides compassionate ABA services that emphasize the individual needs of each child and family. Flexible start and end times each day. Opportunity for advancement and continued training and skill development for all staff. The TEAP program is located at 2400 East Carson Street, Pittsburgh PA 15203. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The dress code is casual and kid friendly. Leased parking is available. Opportunity for supervision to pursue BCBA certification. Responsibilities: · In cooperation with the team, develop, assess, facilitate, and monitor group activities for the patients. · Monitor daily progress notes, data collection, summarization, and graphing for assigned patients. This includes but is not limited to educational, behavioral and skills development programs as well as research protocols. · Work effectively and cooperatively in a trans-disciplinary environment, served by the supervision of several senior staff. · Participate in the development, implementation, and monitoring of behavioral and functional assessments of the patients. · Promote professional rapport with co-workers, patients, and visitors to the Institute. · Coordinate the data management involved in program evaluation and report these findings to other clinical community members. · Assess and monitor skills development programming (cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, expressive, social skills, process) for the patients. · Assist in monitoring patient satisfaction (teachers, parents, child, outside agency) · Bachelors degree in psychology, social work, counseling and education or related field required. · Minimum of One year of experience in mental health or related field preferred.
