Description The Mental Health Worker I will: Follow the plan of care as directed by RN. Communicate information to the appropriate places. Perform safe patient care adhering to Policies and Procedures of Springfield Hospital. Take responsibility for maintaining and/or increasing knowledge base in area of practice. Assist in the management of the milieu in accordance with the policy and procedures to ensure safety and a therapeutic environment. Will lead and co-lead groups as appropriate. The hours for this position are 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Requirements High School diploma or equivalent Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) training (preferred) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training (preferred) Anger Management skills training (preferred) Group leadership skills CPR (within 3 months of hire) Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certified (within 3 months of hire) Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
