Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to clients with disabilities and/or mental health disorders, tailored to their individual needs and goals.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including mainly social engagement, community participation, and personal care.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that encourages independence and personal growth.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Engage in active support roles, which may require a certain level of physical stamina.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to client progress and activities.
  • Use initiative to systematically break down broad goals into smaller achievable daily/weekly tasks.
  • Be person focused, championing choice and control.
