Elite Mentoring is hiring several qualified staff members for the position of youth mentor and parent coach. Each position will require the ability to work on essential goals and focus areas with youth and parents. Qualified applicants will need to provide effective tools, strategies, support, collaboration, professionalism, compassion, respect, work ethics, writing skills, rapport building and a willingness to learn new skills.
The youth mentoring position will require responsibilities with connecting youth to educational goals, life skills, volunteer opportunities, social skills, character goals, respect, honesty, employment goals, self-esteem building, integrity, and recreational goals.
The parent coach position will require responsibilities, such as developing healthy relationships within the home, organizational skills, budgeting, accountability, listening skills, educational goals, life skills, promoting positive values and connecting parents with essential resources.
Education: Minimum requirements-associate’s degree and above are preferred. Experience may supersede college degree contingent on the ability to perform the job duties.
Pay Rate: The pay rate will be $26hour-$30hour based on educational level, experience or combination of the two areas.
