We are excited to announce the expansion in our services to now be offering the new Parent Pathways Program in the Upper Mount Gravatt office. The Parent Pathways program focuses on guiding and supporting parents and carers of children under the age of six with their employment, educational and career journeys.
We currently have an opportunity available for a passionate individual to join our team as a Mentor on a part time basis.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE - A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MENTOR

As a Mentor, you will be responsible for providing personalised mentorship to parents and carers to help them navigate their educational and career goals.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE;

  • Connecting participants with resources such as childcare, housing, financial aid, and educational resources
  • Providing advice to participants with employment searches, resume and interview preparation and ensure they are aware, understand and adhere to their compliance requirements and obligations with Centrelink
  • Developing tailored action plans that address unique needs and aspirations of each participant and help participants to follow through on personalised action plans
  • Facilitating workshops and group sessions to provide additional support and foster a sense of community amongst the participants
  • Keep accurate and up to date records of appointments and client communication in accordance with Parent Pathways contractual requirements
  • Uphold and promote the Parent Pathways Program goals, contributing to its continuous improvement and success and achievement of organisational KPI’s.
