JOB SUMMARY

We are recruiting for an individual with a sports background to support our new Empower Programme. Empower is a structured programme designed for learners in year 6, 7 and 8, who experience difficulties with emotional regulation and behaviour. Through engaging activities, group discussions, hands-on learning and sports. Students will build essential life skills that support their emotional and social development. As a Mentor you will be working alongside the Tutor working with small groups, supporting both classroom and practical sports sessions at our onsite facilities

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in sports coaching and mentoring
  • Teaching qualification (equivalent to PTTLS certification) or relevant experience
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with young people within a sport, education, or youth work setting
    Candidates will be subject to a DBS enhanced check
    Working hours are Monday and Tuesday, 9.30-2.30pm (Term time only)
    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: £15.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 10 per week
