POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Mentorship Engagement Specialist with a strong background in personal finance, budgeting, and financial literacy. This is a remote, independent contractor position where you will mentor clients, guide them through their financial literacy journey, and provide actionable insights to help them reach their goals.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping others improve their financial habits, with experience in budgeting, debt management, and savings strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in financial literacy, personal finance, coaching, or mentorship (required).
• Knowledge of budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and goal-setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a motivational style.
• Comfortable working independently and engaging clients virtually.
• Organized and reliable, with the ability to track client progress accurately.
• Prior mentorship, coaching, or teaching experience is highly preferred.

SKILLS & SOFT SKILLS:

• Financial literacy & basic budgeting principles
• CRM software experience (Zoho, HubSpot, or similar tools preferred)
• Computer literacy (video calls, spreadsheets, online client tracking)
• Strong communication & active listening skills
• Ability to motivate and mentor clients remotely
• Organized and detail-oriented for tracking client progress
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote 1099 role

• Conduct one-on-one mentorship sessions with clients virtually (Zoom or phone).
• Guide clients through budgeting, savings, debt management, and goal-setting strategies.
• Engage and motivate clients to complete mentorship milestones and actionable tasks.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to help clients improve their financial habits.
• Track and document client progress while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with the mentorship team to improve engagement and program success rates.
• Stay updated on basic financial literacy trends and tools to provide relevant guidance.
