We are looking for candidates who can start ASAP and have the ability to work with out-of-school youth who have faced significant obstacles, including addiction, early pregnancy, and school dropouts.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have experience in the field of tutoring and handling behavior issues.
• Must be living in the Phoenix Union High School District area.
• Experience with children is preferred, but not required.
• Must have own transportation.
• With IVP fingerprinted clearance card preferred.
• 1 year of teaching/mentoring experience preferred

• Provide individualized tutoring support in various subjects, including but not limited to math, English, science, and social studies.
• Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment that fosters academic growth and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians and other support staff to ensure student success.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and productive learning environment.
