Our client is in search of an energetic leader responsible for overseeing the management, operations and development of the Meota & District Lakeside Golf Course.
Target Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full time, permanent, seasonal
Location: Meota, SK
Salary: $41,000 -$48,000 for 7 months

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Post secondary diploma/degree in Recreational Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field and/or relevant experience is an asset
• Proven management experience with managing large facility being an asset
• Sales and marketing, public relations and human resources knowledge and experience
• Strong golf background delivering an exceptional guest experience
• Strong hands-on leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue generation
• Ability to work flexible hours, some weekends, and holidays
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License

• Collaborate with the Board of Directors and Chairman
• Develop and implement efficient operational procedures
• Develop and manage budgets for each department, including food and beverage, administration and sales & marketing
• Implement revenue generation strategies, such as events, promotions, and partnerships
• Investigate opportunities and apply for grants and other funding sources to support initiatives
• Recruit, train, and manage a diverse team
• Coordinate renovations, expansions, and new developments as needed
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with the local community, stakeholders, and relevant government bodies
• Continuously improve Meola & District Golf Course Inc product and service quality
• Connect with local businesses to create relationships that enhance the Meota & District Golf Course
