MEP Design Engineer - MEP & Construction Services Provider
Our client, a leading MEP & Construction Services Provider, is seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineer to join their team, supporting projects across Kent, Surrey, and London.
In this role, you will take ownership of the full mechanical and electrical design process, from concept through to completion, delivering projects across the MOD, Education, Healthcare, and Commercial sectors. Working closely with Project Managers, Subcontractors, Consultants, and Clients, you will ensure all building services designs are efficient, compliant, and practical to deliver.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience in MEP design within construction or building services
• Confident working across multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, and secure sites
• Proficiency with design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Hevacomp, Amtech, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of UK building regulations, CIBSE guidelines, and BREEAM principles

• Design and develop MEP systems for a variety of building types
• Produce calculations, schematics, layouts, and technical specifications
• Conduct site surveys and assessments to inform design work and resolve issues
• Liaise with clients, architects, and the wider project team to coordinate MEP services
• Review and approve subcontractor designs and ensure integration with main works
• Ensure designs comply with current regulations, sustainability goals, and security protocols (especially on MOD projects)
• Provide technical support throughout the construction phase
