The role ensures accurate measurement, cost optimization, and proper documentation of MEP quantities through close coordination with the technical, design, and procurement teams using AutoCAD, Revit, and Excel tools.Key Accountability Areas Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for MEP disciplines (HVAC, Firefighting, Plumbing, Electrical, ELV) using AutoCAD and Revit, standard tools/software. Develop and verify BOQs based on tender, shop, and IFC drawings. Review MEP drawings and specifications to ensure quantities align with project scope and standards. Update and maintain quantity records reflecting design revisions and variations. Support the preparation of cost estimates, rate analysis, and cost breakdowns for MEP works. Coordinate with procurement to verify material quantities and assist in supplier/subcontractor comparison sheets. Assist in variation order preparation and cost impact assessments. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and civil/architectural teams to ensure coordination of quantities across disciplines. Provide technical support during tendering, procurement, and construction stages. Maintain organized records of BOQs, quantity sheets, and take-off drawings. Develop Excel-based tools and templates for MEP cost tracking and material management. Prepare periodic reports on quantity progress, variations, and cost trends for management review.
